6th day in the Studio

Ben Shive came into the studio today and recorded some B3 and piano. He was great-very talented and great personality. He is also an artist, check out his music at http://www.benshive.com

5th Day in the Studio

Andy Osenga played electric guitar for the album. he was excellent. really great to work with and was able to give the project exactly what it needed. He's also an artist, check out his stuff at http://www.andyosenga.com.

4th Day in the Studio

I'm sitting on the piano in the drum tracking room, reworking the cover song we chose. The song is originally a upbeat song that we are making more of a love song. So I'm changing the chords around to make it sound different/more interesting.

I LOVE doing that kind of stuff...making songs new by changing the feel and chord structure.

3rd Day in the Studio-Drums

I had two session players come in to play on the album. This is Andy Hubbard. He played the drums for album. Such a nice guy, such a pro, and an incredibly talented musician.

We were tracking drums for my song "Beautiful Boys" and he was coming up with some great stuff, but I just wasn't feeling it. And I couldn't really grasp what I didn't like. He stayed with my right to the end, his attitude was great, never complained or got annoyed, just a real pro.

3rd Day in the Studio - Bass

Today we tracked bass with Tony Lucido. He played some great licks. He had a great tone on the bass and really found some great bass lines.
